What a day we had on the beach today!

It was the first time we had all our Nippers and Youth groups together, and it was the perfect time to officially welcome these groups to the beach, present the pennants won last season and officially acknowledge our new Nipper Club Captains.

We also welcomed proud Noongar Yamatji woman and Sorrento local Sharon Wood-Kenney who facilitated an outstanding Cultural Immersion, sharing her history and stories along Sorrento Beach and Kaya Kep – showing us how to introduce ourselves respectfully to the waters of Sorrento Beach.
